Authorities release sketch of suspect in Denny’s robbery on Halloween

A sketch of a man authorities think robbed a Denny’s restaurant in Oakland Park on Halloween was released Tuesday.

About 7 p.m. Oct. 31, a man walked into the restaurant on the 3100 block of Northwest Ninth Avenue. He approached the cash register area and demanded money as he pointed a gun at the manager, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

His accomplice stood by the door to make sure no one left the restaurant. After getting the money, the assailants ran away.

The gunman was described as being 5-foot-10, and between 25 and 35 years old.
