BMX pro Mike Spinner has done his good deed for the year.
When Parkland’s Spinner found out someone in Texas swiped a 9-year-old boy’s Mike Spinner Hyper bike, he arranged to get the kid some new wheels.
Then Spinner called the boy himself.
“He was pretty speechless. He didn’t believe it was me.”
Spinner said the boy’s grandmother, his caretaker, was over the moon because she couldn’t afford to replace the bike.
Spinner, a freestyle BMXer, was humble about the gift. “It’s no big deal at all. An easy way to make everybody happy.”
