Coral Springs High students suffer dehydration symptoms during outside performance

More than a dozen Coral Springs High School students were treated for dehydration symptoms during an outside concert Thursday afternoon.

“Due to the heat, there are some students experiencing heat emergency-type symptoms,” said Mike Moser, division chief of the Coral Springs Fire Department.

The High School Nation Tour was taking place at the school at 7201 W. Sample Rd. when some of the students appeared to fall ill.

According to Moser, 14 people were seen by  paramedics Рthree of those were taken to Northwest Medical Center and Coral Springs Medical Center, 954-356-4544 or Twitter: @rebecapiccardo.
