A 20,000-square-foot emergency center in Coconut Creek will be opening soon, according to West Boca Medical Center officials.
Mayor Becky Tooley spoke about how excited she is for the community to have greater access to high-level emergency care, according to a hospital press release.
“With 11 treatment rooms and advanced imaging technology, the center will be able to treat emergent medical conditions,” the release stated. “Patients will have access to the same board-certified doctors and medical staff at West Boca Medical Center, including more than 200 specialty physicians.”
As of press time, an official opening day for the hospital at 4890 State Road 7 had not been announced.
It will be open 24 hours, seven days a week, the release stated, and offer the same capabilities as a traditional emergency room.
