Police seek public’s help finding stolen artwork

Police are investigating after an artwork was stolen from a Coral Springs home.

The 3-D pop-art piece, “Wizard of Oz” by Charles Fazzino, was stolen sometime between Oct. 24 and Oct. 26. Police said the work might have been sold around Lake Worth on Oct. 26.

The value of the piece has not been disclosed, but other works by Fazzino being offered online range from $800 to almost $10,000.

Authorities ask anyone with information about the case call Coral Springs Detective Chantel Mears at 954-346-1218 or report an anonymous tip to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
