Thieves target unlocked vehicles in Parkland

Broward Sheriff’s detectives are searching for three men who entered unlocked cars in Parkland looking to steal whatever valuables they could find.

They got $900 in cash from a 2009 Cadillac Escalade SUV after rummaging through several vehicles on the 6200 block of Northwest 77th Place, detectives said.

It occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Several neighbors said their cars were targeted but nothing was stolen.

Surveillance video shows one suspect wearing a light colored T-shirt and shorts, another wearing a light T-shirt and dark pants, and a third wearing shorts and a long-sleeve hoodie.
